1909. 100 years ago. Wow. Most people still didnt have cars, electricity or indoor plumbing, especially in the rural areas. They still got around on horseback and used candles or gas for light. The Wright brothers had invented and tested the airplane only 6 years earlier. They didnt have television. Movies, radio was still in its infancy. Alot of the modern conveniences and inventions we take for granted today, didnt even exist yet back then.
