i don't want to defend Islam here but Mr moshiri although he is a very educated man and patriot to Iran but tries to scape from major problems which made Iran as what you see are these:

1)panaturk:panakurd,panaarab,w­­estern interest are the main enemies of Iran

2) concentrating and humiliating Islam or shia which is a believe is wrong,its personal.and should stay this way but separate from government .

3)if Iran central government goes who guaranties the integrity of Iran from:tork, Kurd, Arab?

Islam is a hybrid and that is the problem. Islam is a religion AND a political party. A religion cares about the spiritual matters and after death, which Islam enters. A political party cares about kind of government, laws, individual and human rights, crimes and punishment, family laws, etc. etc. which Islam involves in all of theses matters as well.

So, any time Islam, like any other political party, gets criticized they become a religion, but they continue act as a party.
