As much as Layne was the soul of AIC, Jerry is and always has been the heart and central nervous system. If he departed from the band it would be totally different.

I've seen them live with and without Layne and although it was a different dynamic, both times they sounded excellent. Actually when i saw them with Layne singing he lost his voice toward the end and Jerry busted his guitar!

The sound setup wasn't verified. Jerry is turned up too high and will is not turned up high enough. If they sing with any dynamics they will drown out the instruments, so it is a lose-lose situation. Nothing sucks worse than having to restrain your voice since it sounds pretty bad compared to wide open. Anyway, this performance would have been better with adequate setup.
