  • Like Wanda the Wahine sez..play every day for comfort and joy.

  • Love you bruddah...

  • UNCLE BLA!!!

  • Love Bla's version. He makes it sound so bluesy and soulful.....sad too. He gives me chicken skin.

  • I had the privilege of watching Keola and Kapono Beamer sing this song several times while living on Oahu. They NEVER SMILED as they sang it ~ it represented true loss in their lives. When I wistfully remember Hawaii, this is the song that plays in my mind. Of all the glorious fun and happy music I remember on several islands, this song stands alone as a tear-jerker. It represents the true 'Hawaii' I saw there. Mahalo for posting this.

  • Can't stop listening this song. Amazing. I wish today's popular music were like this ..

  • can somebody PLEASE post the studio version of this????

  • Ono to the ears and pono for the soul. Mahalo!!!

  • God bless all Pahinuis. I knew Gabby (he probably did not know much of me). Waimanalo's greatest heritage!

  • This is Bla's legacy song, in my opinion. There are not many other songs which have such strong mana. I play this CD in the car every day without fail. Thanks, Lanet.

    Me ke aloha,

    Wanda
