i dont care what people say.i loved my machine wars prime until i had to sell it to pay the bills.i miss mine and i wish i could get again.it was my first transformer growing up.so now you know why i love it so much xD

the base looks SO fragile a single laser shot could cause it to be destroyed.I MEAN THE LASER CANNON CANT EVEN MOVE u just leave it there,and a enemy coudl just behind and dodcge missles and turret,not that hard if they fast and or good armor

OK, I just got a MIB Machine Wars Prime and my opinion still hasn't changed. I am making mine a custom battle mask like the classic Optimus Prime out of some Sculpy and once it's done it'll get a silver paint treatment and carefully glued in place. Still, I have to give this at least a 3 out of 5 rating as most parts on this are color molded in separate colors and not all stickers for detailing and windows like the original 1988 Powermaster Optimus was.

I actually like this toy. it really wasn't any worse than the Powermaster Prime's base robot mode if you think about it. No head, shoulders, hip...or anything else articulation but the elbows moved. XD It's really a shame too because the shoulders COULD have been tooled to move at the very least. In all, I still like this toy. I just wish i had bought him for when he was like ten bucks at KB Toys. Now a days he fetches at least a hundred bucks in package.

Wow... just... wow. I never even knew this toy existed and I almost think I was better off that way. Knowing may be half the battle but the other half seems to involve me bleaching my eyes in an attempt to expunge that horrible image from my retinas. What's with the stupid olive green for $^!+$ sake?! I'm really not much of a Prime fan but even I think he deserves better than this.

Whoa. After seeing your review, I actually want this guy. I'm serious. The reason why Prime himself is so, how you say "Crappy" is because the designers' main focus was on making the trailer look as cool as possible. So the Prime figure itself is a brick. At least his trailer transforms into a cool-looking base/battle plat form.
