Look, this is super cruel alright? Complicated organisms (especially in the young age) cannot afford to have its sleeps constantly disrupted. In order to see why, next time wait till your friend get really sleepy, you flip a woodstick on his chest and face waking him up. Do it for more than an hour he will have no choice but to to storm the kitchen and get a knife to stab the fuck out of you. That is how serious your brain can react genetically, because good sleep is vital to lives.
