im 18 and this is quality musicians nowadays just arnt as pure as they used to be. 2pacs version was also legendary too. 68 PEOPLE WERE THE PEOPLE HU CREATED THIS EVIL WORLD AKA GUVERMENT!!!!!!!!!!!
@heenan93, it's true that at the inception of the United States our federal government sanctioned holding certain black human beings as property. However, as the song mentions, the federal government also later enacted the 1964 Civil Rights Act and created welfare to help poor people. The thrust of this song seems to be about racial prejudice and economic inequality. Individuals and private companies contribute to these realities but the governmental EEOC (and others) fights them.
This song makes me smile so much. My ex was a firefighter and had always wanted to get down and dirty on top of the fire truck. We saw the movie Back Draft and after that it it was all over, we went late at night and climbed up on top and had the time of our lives until the damn alarm went off and we had to get dressed fast and off the truck. I will forever hold that memory close to my heart. We created our daughter that night, to bad he walked away after 8 years. His Loss.
A test of a great musician is how they sound live compared to how they sound in studio, and the great musicians most of the time sound even better live than studio; this video is proof that indeed, Bruce Hornsby is one great fucking musican.
Are you crazy? This song was out WAY before Tupac went solo from Digital Underground. In fact, I'm old enough to remember when this song was on the radio by Bruce Hornsby. This song is pretty much what put him on the map. Unfortunately, that's been the bad past of sampling music. A whole generation didn't get original music anymore. So you think things like Bruce Hornsby stole an idea from Tupac. No, Tupac was genius enough to know true talent in Bruce Hornsby! Real music!!!!
@antdigger What are you talking about?? Tupac Shakur sampled this track. This track was released in 1986! Get you facts right before posting such shit! Idiot!!

@pwalker32 Bruce Hornsby released this song in 1986. Community premiered in 2009. From the planet I'm from, 2009 is bigger than 1986. That means 2009 came after 1986. Also, the video says "vote 2004" in the bottom corner, which is before Community existed. You're the reason Twilight fans (especially those who think Twilight is a rip-off of Harry Potter) don't get shunned by society as much as they should.
