  • Bandmates, Rob Quail and Pat Rush honoured him by playing at the recently named Jeff Healey Park in Toronto on June 5, 2011.

  • Criminally unrecognised.

    Rest in peace Jeff.

  • he is the Itzhak Perlman of blues guitar

  • Beautiful.........

  • I had the pleasure of seeing Jeff perform in a bar in Albuquerque,NM and I have to say it was one of the best concerts I have ever been too...He played for over two and a half hours...A show I'll never forget

  • I have listened to others on my youtube surf , sing and play this song, and none does it as well as Jeff Healey. This song, and ANGEL EYES , were two songs that Jeff would exeed all others on. His eyes are so beautiful in this video, and that is what breaks the heart moreso , to know that these eyes were blind, but our world is so sick and insane, that there is a virtue to being blind, and that is, you don't have to see the muck and mire around you, hearing about it is bad enough.

  • He plays and sings this song as if such really happened to him. It is a lower than life filthy female that would prey on the wealth and fame of a blind man and take him to the cleaners for her own comfort of life, and just leave him when times start getting hard. Hope such treachery didn't happen to this chap. (NO MONEY, NO HONEY), is what I was once told by the opposite sex. You see friends, there are those type of people out there in the world. FAREWELL FRIENDS WHEN THE MONEY IS GONE.

  • who's on bass? anybody know?

  • this is just superb one of the best versions of this great song

  • one of the greatest guitar players to have ever lived! bravo!

  • I think it's in Berlin.

  • RIP

  • THE FUCK???

    THIS MAN IS BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    someone suggest some good songs?

  • see the light

  • fable: 'I think I love you too much' + 'Cruel Little Number'

  • my favort tune is( evil and here to stay)

me and my 6y/o jam this tune in the car

  • Almost all of his songs are great. His CD Cover 2 Cover is fantastic. Stop Breaking Down, Highway 49, Yer Blues, The Moon Is Full, Confindence Man, Roadhouse Blues. That's a good start for you.

  • I had it the DAY it came out, fuckin beautiful........

  • While my guitar gentley weeps and Yer Blues, he does great covers of both. Not bad for a blind guy. Shame he passed away.

  • wonderful

  • 5 stars are not enaugh....he was the best. See the light jeff!

  • God bless this guy, he had so much talent and only to die so young! what a waste!

  • Comment removed

  • what is the point in playing the guitar on laps?? Any advantages in that?

  • I watched an interview with him, he mentioned how it allows him to reach more notes at once without contorting his fingers too much. As for this working for everyone, probably not haha.

  • RIP, Jeff...Sadly missed.

  • Brilliant !!!

  • My chill bumps have chill bumps!!!! What beautiful blue eyes he had, it's a damned shame he couldn't see through them. I think he probably was able to see things that those of us with sight couldn't. God bless you and keep you always Jeff. Thank you so much for posting this Joachim1990.

  • @rtupin1956 Those beautiful eyes are made of glass. He lost his eyes to cancer at 8 months of age. They are so real and beautiful that I imagine his own true eyes would have just as lovely and so full of soul - just like the man! RIP JH & SRV

    Jeff had this gift....Vale Jeff.

  • Next time you hear the words ' impossible, can't or unable' think of jeff..not only was he a blind guy who could play guitar..he was a blind guy who was great at the guitar...not only that ...he made it as in the music industry..not for being blind..but for having talent..when jeff plays...you dont just hear his music...he is showing his soul...

  • This could be his best performance. The world is a worse place now that his talent has been lost. Boogie on Bro!

  • A man has become a legend, my condolances to Jeffs family, friends and fans. His music and spirit will always live forever.

  • Following a lengthy struggle with cancer,

Healey passes away on the eve of the

release of a new blues rock album

Jeff Healey, arguably one of the most distinctive guitar players of our time, died today (Sunday March 2) in St. Joseph's Hospital, Toronto. He was 41, and leaves his wife, Cristie, daughter Rachel (13) and son Derek (three), as well as his father and step-mother, Bud and Rose Healey, and sisters Laura and Linda.

  • finger vibrato straight from hell!

  • He's one of the best guitar players I've ever seen, and he's also a great singer... the good thing is also that he plays all kind of songs not just blues, eventhough I love blues... I hope that he comes to mexico monterrey or to Brasil... e vlw por te dito ai aonde foi o show pq eu tava curioso pra saber aonde havia sido essa apresentacao.

  • Apresentação de Jeff Healey em maio de 1995 no Nescefé & Blues, SP - Brasil.

    EU VI!!!

  • He's so good as Blind Man!Thank's for sharing this!

  • Wow, he looks complete differnt than the way I remembered him. Jeff Healey is really really good.
