I can understand why your're sounding nervous, I'd feel the same I assure you. It use to be that Tornados weren't known to hit Montana or Alberta with avengence and global warming has to be the reason. Tornados are by far the scariest form of weather as they make there way, whereas a blizzard and hurricaine are most widespread and the whole city /region is affected. Tornados could devestate one side of the street and leave the other untouched making you wonder will it ever happen again?
If I seen that coming at me, all I could say is. Ass don't drag, and feet don't fail me now. I would be out of there like a bolt of lightning. I was in the path of one last year. Not good.
ok for real dont make fun of her!!! i bet if u were her u wouldnt be happy and fearless and yell "OH YEAH COME TOUCH DOWN AND TAKE SOME DAMAGE!!!!!" im mean for real i wouldnt want this to happen to me and i sure as heck know u wouldnt want it happening to you!
I was in the heights just half a mile away from that. That lighting was so loud up there it literally shook the ground!!! That day i was so scared & i will never forget how close i was to a tornado!!!!!!!
That thing got big quick! I know it's rare there, even here in northern Ohio we don't get em that much but when they do come around you do start to get anxious. Honestly, you were pretty calm about the whole thing. Thanks for the video, and glad you were safe.
Storm chasing at your own front door might be a bit more concerning than chasing one down in a car with a cell phone putting your life in danger for no reason. When family and home is on the line its not so fun* Not long ago it was not as easy to share and learn* Hope thee family is fine*
Just out of curiosity, why do people live in tornado alley if they're not farmers or any type of profession that requires the large amount of farmland? Is it just the lower cost of living or something? I'm from a city on the coast so forgive me, but it just seems a bit crazy to live in an area where all the material assets you've worked for your whole life can disappear from an unfortunately placed tornado.
Got to hand it to the author, though, she's got balls of steel.
@dotZodiac I wish I could answer that question too. This is not Tornado alley though. Not even close. Tornado's are rare in Montana, so this event is likely not going to happen again for a pretty long time in this same spot. It was a trip filming it. I didn't know wether to run or keep filming. As you can tell by the breathing (which everyone comments about) I was hoping it wasn't headed straight for me. It was really scary standing there watching it form. Thanks for the comment.
@dotZodiac Better yet, why do you live on the coast and probably near a fault line, where there are chances of earthquakes and tsunamis? Most people don't choose where the live. They go where they can find work or they live where they grew up. Sorry not everyone can afford to move wherever they'd like. What a stupid fucking question...

@dotZodiac There's more to living in the country than being a farmer. You need ag equip. dealers, mechanics, doctors, teachers, etc. And often there are other industries such as mining and lumber. As for losing all your belongings, tornado alley does not get tsunamis' or hurricanes which can devastate an entire state or region. Tornados cause a smaller area of damage. You can get help from the next town or county instead of someone from the next state. I'll take the country any day.
@dotZodiac I live in tornado alley. I have my entire life. Reason. 4 seasons and only 4 weeks of storms like this. Plus its a natural jolt when you see the beauty of mother nature tearing stuff up. I have seen many tornados. Some much bigger then this one, But i still love seeing them.
@lilrad68 lol...especially when there are like 4 other videos of this same event that come up in suggestions after watching your video. @bgamelson, look ^^^
Wow! Okay, well done to her for standing and filming it! I'm from Scotland, so I've never been in this situation before! Anyone who thinks that the panting's stupid, GTFO! @cwe11 Why did you assume the poster was British? If you bothered to check their profile you would have found out easily enough that they were from Portugal. Also, two wrongs don't make a right. Your xenophobia is just as repellent.
dont be such a jackass- she's breathing so hard because she is watching a cloud of funneling death form only a few hundred feet away from her. You'd be worried to- except all the weather you have to watch in Britain is fog outside of your parlor window as you have your afternoon tea.
@sterlingironsteele LOL...ok sorry for being silly,,,,im not British,im portuguese...i also used to see this kind of weather for some times here in portugal, i got videos and pictures...but not getting tired :P

@TheZecateca typical brit, douchey, lame and always talking down to people from other countries.
cwe11 8 months ago
@cwe11 Why did you assume the poster was British? If you bothered to check their profile you would have found out easily enough that they were from Portugal. Also, two wrongs don't make a right. Your xenophobia is just as repellent.
CazzaMcSpazza 8 months ago
@TheZecateca
dont be such a jackass- she's breathing so hard because she is watching a cloud of funneling death form only a few hundred feet away from her. You'd be worried to- except all the weather you have to watch in Britain is fog outside of your parlor window as you have your afternoon tea.
sterlingironsteele 8 months ago
@sterlingironsteele LOL...ok sorry for being silly,,,,im not British,im portuguese...i also used to see this kind of weather for some times here in portugal, i got videos and pictures...but not getting tired :P
