@Jijo233 Balisong have been used by Filipinos since before the 10th century. Oh and the Filipinos never made it popular. Americans did post-WW2. Some troops were stationed in the Philippines and were given some balisong as souvenirs so to speak. They brought it back and people were like "WHOA THIS IS AWESOME" and all of a sudden you see balisong becoming real popular with the young people of the time.
