Goddam I love Akio!!! His playing is awesome. Chops and feel all the way around. And the combination of him, Naoto Shibata, Hiro Homma, and Eizo Sakamoto is simply the best. I LOVE THE HELL OUT OF ANTHEM!!!

I'm a fan of Syu as well, and the only reason I don't have videos of him here is because they're easier to find on Youtube than Akio's videos... To me comparing them both makes no sense, since their styles are very different... Still, I guess a jam between the two would kick MAJOR ass!

Woa woa woa woa....I think this guy is surely amazing, his lines and chops are very original, and he plays cleanly all the way through. However, this is a big HOWEVER, put him in a studio room with Syu and Syu will rip his ass new hole. Syu has a lot more in his bag than this guy does, as far as styles and shredding techniques goes. Not taking anything away from Akio, but Syu is just tha much better. Now stop comparing and enjoy the music.

Syu is not overrated, in fact, I think he should be more famous than he is right now, but I have to agree that this guy is amazing. They play diferent styles. The awakening, or under threat are great songs of syu. Try to listen to those songs, ull c they are completely diferent. Enjoy their music and the fact that there are still cool young guitar players out there. --_0
