  • I am thinkin that this is my next build....clipped wings and retracts maybe??? What do ya think???

  • Quite satisfying to build something like that and then go fly it!!! Nice work!

wish u many more sucsesfull landingsl

  • Where's the big crash at the end Come on!

  • I robot rocks!!!

Cool Plane I have one with a Enya 120 4 stroke. It is a dream to fly!!

    Keep it in the air!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • NICE!!

  • do u need an esc for a gas rc motor

  • No, you use a servo to control throttle.

  • jan

  • can you please tell me how to start the engine

  • 1. Make sure you have a "spark" by removing the plug(wire connected), and holding it about 1/8 of an inch from the motor. (be careful not to shock yourself)

Turn the prop past the pick-up magnets, you should see a spark when the magnet pass over each other.

    2. Be sure you choke isn't closed, giving u too much fuel, and little air. That happened to me. If you choke it and turn the prop you should see a little fuel (moisture) in the carb.

  • 3. Is there fuel in the line? With the switch off or plug wire off, turn the prop several time to see if your pumping fuel.

    4. Check/recharge your battery for adequate volts. I use 2 batteries A 6V battery for the ignition, and a 4.8 for the servos.

    Good LUCK!

  • cheers mate i am auctually trying to make one of my own!

  • Really Nice! How long did it take you to build it just from the kit?

  • Not really sure. If I was to repeat the same build, maybe ... 40 to 50 hours.? I know I spent a lot more time than that for this one.

I'm building a new electric plane for aerial photography now. :) I'll have some great photos this year. I'm Psyched!

  • Great Video

Where did you get that Cowling for it?

  • Great vid, the Alan Parsons was a nice touch too :)

  • nice work, looks like a great flyer too. How is it with aerobatics ? inverted, knife edge, slow roll, snap rolls? it looks like it should do well. keep building and videoing.

  • I've only flow it twice, but I'm sure it can perform w/out a problem. It's in the "Sport" plane category. I've seen pics of 4*'s w/ the wings clipped too. I'm sure those can do just about anything w/ the right engine. :)

  • nice build!! this is the next plane I'm planning on building. how did the kit fit up?? I've heard Sig makes a really good kit.

  • Thanks,

It's a good beginners build Kit. It fits up really well. Full size plans easy directions etc.

It was a great winter project for me. Check out Rc Universe, com, there are some great threads on Four Star Kit building.

    Good Luck!

  • real nice mix of video...wish it was with a blue sky.

love the work you did in this 120

  • Thanks, it was quite a challenge. I still have a few final touches.

and Yes everyone in the midwest is sick of this winter. Almost over though!!!
