  • my fourwheelers twin exactly except mine aint got snorkle kit but everything else tires and all

  • how long were all the strait pipe?

  • Is the power band there like it was stock or did you lose power? Ive done a snorkle on my 2008 KLR 650 and had problems with the power band cause it wasnt getting enough air, so I want to try it on my 2002 recon? Thanks

  • is that electricshift?

  • Can you make a video of how you out the snorkels on ?

  • @imodgt I dont have this quad anymore but if you google "Honda recon snorkels" the first result is the write-up I made about them

  • How do you like your mudlites

  • @hondarecon2005 I really liked the mudlites, I have no idea what tires are on the market today but when I got them they were reasonably priced and the performed extremely well in the mud

  • How much for it?

  • Ok man i think it was your fourwheeler i seen online and that taught me how to snorkel mine or it gave me an idea on how to

  • @7maghuntinclub probably, i remember putting something up on some forum about the snorkels

  • What mounting kit its that?

  • @MrParadise21 mounting kit for what? the winch was mounted on a plate from Harbor Freight and four U-bolts

  • Why the hell do you have two snorkels. You only need one. @hondarecon97 you don't need to run the vent lines. Just cap them off. The recon only needs the airbox to stay dry. Run PVC pipe into it and make it water tight. Then you done

  • what kind of winch is that

  • @blackforestprince harbor freight winch, $50 (figured I could replace it five times before it would cost as much as one Warn winch) plus it saved my ass plenty of times, once with the winch totally submerged

  • how did u snorkel it and how do u run the vent lines

  • how did u snorkel it and how do u run the vent lines

  • how did you snorkel it

  • how did you snorkel it

  • check tha oil!!! im serious!

  • hah, i have the exact same cept mines red, are your tires stock?and what wench do you have on it

  • That's one souped up Recon, I have a 2001 Yamaha Beartracker and I'm absoultely going to get a winch today!!

  • Wow a dub sticker on the back? RICE!

  • were is the vent line at?

  • from the factory there are two coming from the differential and rear brake drum (near the same place, on the rearend) the vent lines end at the top of the factory snorkels

  • how big is the lug on the mudlites?

  • about an inch

  • the only mudlites i can find for a recon are the A/T's and thy only 3./4 of an inch

  • thats weird I thought these were very common ATV tires. Go to a powersports dealer and see if they can order them for you, thats what I did

  • i mean for our bikes, the only tires tht will fit the recon is the 24in a/t's, once u get to 25 in and up the lug is at least an inch

  • yea all the online sights are the a/t tires with little lugs, thy not bad jus not the size im lookin for

but im really lookin at gbc gators, thy hav a 1in lug and are cheaper

  • My mudlites were 22's or 23's

  • 22's i think.

do thy get good bite? can u go pretty deep with em?

  • From what I rode with them they got great bite, but I sold my ATV pretty soon after I bought them so I never REALLY got a chance to test them out. I want this quad back so bad!! especially now that my driveway needs plowed

  • yea thy so light and easy to get unstuck and fun to float haha

on ur snorkles, did u have to use some like shop vac hose to get it around the motor? and are the vent lines long enuff to go up the snorkel or do u have to extend it ti make it go?

  • I had to use flexible line I got from home depot (I think it was refridgerator hose) to extend the vent lines and the snorkels cleared the motor with two 45 degree elbows

  • k thanx. and did u have to jet it wen u snorkled it or anything?

well mine is and 07 so idk if thy made anything diff in the body, but i tried tht and it wont fit. with 1 1\2 in pvc stuff

  • I didnt re-jet or anything

  • well im goin to b puttin 24's on soon, do u think id need to jet it or anything along with snorklin it?

  • cool... what kind of back tires?

  • ITP Mudlites.. highly recomended

  • hey my honda recon engine ticks like yours is this somethin to worry about

  • I never noticed any ticking except a little from the transmission and maybe the exhaust. If yours still performs fine then I would say its nothing to worry about

  • alrite thanks

  • it look like the 2001 model

  • 2002 frame, 200 body/everything else.. it was totalled at one point then restored

  • i have one of them it was my baby but my dad put it in a storage bin 2 years ago and i havent run it since

  • get him to take it out! drain the tank, clean the carb and flush/bleed the brakes, change the oil and GO RIDING!

  • whats that hose on the snorkle for to?

  • the hoses are vents from the rear brake and differential. The recon comes with vent lines from the factory I just extended them up the snorkel so water wouldnt get in the rear brake or differential

  • what are both snorkles for i thought u could only snorkle the pipe and air

  • both snorkels join together then go to the intake. There are two for maximum airflow

  • .....So I sold it today :'(

  • had the same one. same color and size. before i sold mine i went mudding all the time.

  • they're great quads!

  • i kno. i wish i didnt sell mine.they r so durable that on the last mudrun i did with it, i put about a gallon of water in the intake box.....and it still ran. didnt hydrolock or nothing

  • its the toughest 250 around! the ozark aint nearly as durable and the bayou is a joke!

  • nice ATV

  • thanks bro!
