If your cave is full of water, go to the other side where the silver key is and dive into the water and you should still get the achievement even if you don't jump 500 ft.

go to where erics letter is in cave see that little ledge vault on it and ull get acchivment it also loks like your flying

You gotta play on with the story. If youre in Bloodstone, you only have a few small things to do before you can get into the cave.

While playing through the story, you will have to go to Bloodstone eventually.
