I've seen them live and while I can't say tears are shed over their emotional songs the amazing relaxed atmosphere Chris Martin and co give off makes for a fantastic fun show. Along with U2, they seem the only genuinely deserving big band.

But why Arcade Fire aren't on that level in terms of album sales I will never know. They are clearly the best!

It's been 3 and a half years, but I can still feel the vibe in the Grolsch tent during this concert. Everyone was hypnotized by their bombastic, yet melancholic songs. Some weird kind of feeling was in the air during this last song that is difficult to describe, prabalypure happiness. An unforgettable experience it was.

I love this song but the entire time I watched this I wanted to punch the drunken drummer boy in the face. He wasn't anywhere near a mic for 95% of the performance so you couldn't even hear him, so it was just pointless antics. Most of the other videos on here he's into it but keeps his composure. This one was just kinda embarrassing. Fantastic job by the rest of the band though.

When they perform live, often members of the band do some crazy stuff like what the drummer is doing. It's part of the experience. If you haven't seen them live, you have no idea. When I saw them live I remember a couple of the band members running around with just drum sticks playing off random parts of the stage.

that's william butler (the main singers brother) if you didn't know and considering he plays a wide variety of instruments during their set i wouldn't say that he doesn't contribute anything or that he has one brain cell. that stuff always happens in their shows, it adds to the unique experience that is arcade fire and really shows the energy in their music. id like to see the violinist try and play violin while climbing the set because it might be a bit hard?
