I'm an immense fan of the Leaf type, but for some reason, every time I play a Pokemon game, I end up accumilating an army of Vulpixes. And I mean a REAL army; last time I checked my Vulpix-Count in Ruby, I had twelve.

@GamerLink5 statistically flareon sucks, in 4th gen it got a bit better but before that it sucked immensely, the only good move it could get would be double edge which you have access to at the frikin end of the main game. vaporeon is alot better, tons of hp and sp attack + surf and aurora beam or ice beam = pwn.

though i personally like flareon's sprite the best. that fluffy mane makes me wanna pet it real bad :(

Here's something you should mention in your first video on your newest LP: Look back on this and tell the audience I told you this, because this is true. Lavender town is a town where dead pokemon live. Pokemon Tower is the tower in which the pokemon live in to roam forever. The L.T. theme that plays contains binural sound waves that hide hidden frequencies to tell your brain to do weird stuff. I heard a Japanese boy killed himself because he heard these frequencies. Only with headphones though!

The really terrible thing about him asking if your Pokémon is/are dead, and why he's standing in front of a grave, is that his Raticate is missing as of that battle. This could be explained by him having more than six Pokémon, and wanting something other than Raticate, except he only has five in this battle, which means there's no strategy-based reason for it to be gone. Either he just plain old boxed his Raticate, or…

@Redesignated Yeah, legend goes you killed his Raticate. He was in Lavender town to bury his Raticate in the first place, since he had no other reason to be there (there's no Gym). According to some he couldn't get his wounded Raticate off the SS. Anne to the pokemon centre soon enough because it was so crowded. You killed it, basically.

@chickenminecraft Nope; there's no day/night for you to evolve it in for FR/LG. You have to trade it to R/S/E and do it there, and then trade it back if you want to evolve it.

My advice? It not fun if your Pokemon is LV 100!

End soo, when you got to champion gary, it will be impossible to beat him with only blastoise and my recommendation is just to be as Tobias in Pokemon anime and cary with yourself blastoise and one legendary Pokemon (it can be any).

@SeaofSt0rm Gary is weak in Firered and Leafgreen, but in Heartgold and Soulsilver, he is really tough, especially in the rematch with him.

To battle him, you need to get other 7 Gym badges in second and fourth generation, just like generation one and three, you need to get other gym badges too, but this time Giovanni is a gym leader, he can be battled in fourth generation if you have celebi event and go to ilex forest and battle him in 4vs4 battle.

@SeaofSt0rm Unsure if this has been answered before, but tea doesn't actually dehydrate you. I was curious about this and did some research. Caffeine does dehydrate you, but it takes a lot, which is more or less impossible to brew. But, if you're still worried, decaffeinated tea does exist.
