i want to purchase one for my really active little six year old son and cannot afford those expensive ones on the market. do you think that this or the cheaper version [about $100] would be great for him?

@fendercuber haha thats cool, i really do like this tablet it streams youtube videos really well and i downloaded a black market called snappzmarket and i can download any app for free including adobe so i can go to any site and watch anything regardless if they have a mobile site or not.

Thanks for the review. I wanted to get something cheap until I decide on a better quality tablet. The Kyros, or your modified one, looks good. How is the wifi capability? I want to use it at work and don't want to worry about connection issues because i"m not close enough to a router like the Archos models.
Also, can I watch my videos from a USB flash drive?
