The ending is the best thing about this movie! You can get it on a four DVD movie pack called "Wild West Shootout".

@AdminPlant thanks dude, I've been looking for this film all over the place. Welcome To blood City is not available anywhere on its own, unless you want to pay silly money for a VHS tape (£49). I got the DVD you mentioned from the US amazon site. I'm in the UK.... not seen this since the 1980s !!!

jack palance in more nutty movies than johnny depp. not palance's own voice? movie a less bloody el topo? (certainly an obscure movie.)

It's definitely Palance's own voice in the film, but definitely not in the same arena as El Topo. Surreal to a point, but not a surrealist film by any means.
