  • had a rough day today at work and watched your vid and felt so much better. thanks so much!!:-)

  • Since youtube at my last comment, here's take 2. I'm your daughter's "11:11" friend (as she told me to describe myself lol) and I have to admit, I originally was watching your vids just because she asked me too, but ended up watching almost all of them because they're pretty much made of awesome. Have to say, you did Clapton Proud. Wonderful tonight is one of my favorite songs. Now I'd really like to hear Stairway to heaven or another Zepplin song and I'll be in heaven. :-D

  • I would like to learn how to play "On the Front Porch" written by the Sherman Brothers and performed by Burl Ives in the Disney movie "Summer Magic" I cannot find Uke music for this song anywhere and I am not talented enough to figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Doug

  • Just google the chords for the song. Regardless of the insturment the chords will translate.

  • Izzy,

Thanks ever so much for the time and effort you have put into this, the main riff lesson, and the chords / tab. It took a bit of time to learn, but it is so worth it.

And Guitar453... I got a Makala (Kala) uke + soft carry case for £15 inc postage from ebay, (there are cheeper makes too!) and it is a great first uke.... at least you havent shelled out a fortune to see if you like it. and you won't cry too much if (when) it gets scratched.

    Izzy, heartfelt thanks once again.

  • I'm glad the lesson was useful to you. Thank you for taking the time to comment, it is much appreciated.

  • Thanks for lesson and for the song. Nice cover! Very good voice.

  • very nice!!!

  • Good job.

I love the heart you bring to the song.

    5* and thanks.

  • You are Brilliant!

    Keep it up please.

and the tabs help alot :D

  • i saw ukulele on eBeay one guy sell that for 20€ is that possible?

  • yeah its possible, but its probably a shit one. i mean, mine's $100, $50 for you, but the uke goes out of tune, if you wanna get something worth something, it'll be out of hawaiian wood n shit

  • how much that instrument cost?

  • You're the man!

  • Izzy oh man, you rule! I want to get a ukulele just like yours, the Oscar Schmidt OU-13, and I'll definitely look into those Aquila tenor string sets. Man, the way you play this song sounds so good to my ears! When I purchase my uke I'll learn your tab and dedicate it to you bro. Thanks!

    Greetings from Mississippi,

    - Mohamed

Do me the ultimate honor and learn the song and post a video of yourself and your friend doing it.

  • beautiful

  • Really enjoyed this, Thanks

  • You have a wonderful sound. I hope you make more videos of you performing rock and blues covers.

  • What kind of uke is that? I love the way it sounds.

  • I love the ukelele, it's so funny and sentimental.... ummm... it's hard to explain.... I love it 'cos every song I've heard p´layed on this instrument feels me with such joy and hapiness, and even peace. Great work dude, love the cover!!!

  • Sounds great, man! Nice work.

  • 2:41 a bit false there ^^ kinda like squeesing the air out of a balloon, nicely done most part tough

  • Very good indeed !!!! I just wish you would give a little more instruction on what is happening with your right hand with regard to the picking

  • I have just uploaded a *tab* of the more complicated parts of this song. Find the link in the "About This Video" part of the page, in the upper right corner.

  • i have to comment again! The more I've listen the more feeling and "groove" you "project"! Bravo once again! :D

  • Wonderful indeed! Bravo! ;)

  • well played

  • im working on this song i got my ukulele and ive played guitar for abuot 4 yrs it is tuned the same (almost)

  • i love the way that sounds is the ukulele hard to learn i wanna buy one

  • Thank you for your kind words!

Is the ukulele hard too play? I'm not sure how too answer that. Because I played the guitar for 30 years, it was easy because the uke is tuned nearly the same way.

  • I tried playing guitar for 6 years, never got it. I learned how to start playing songs on Ukulele in 6 hours.... Not kidding. I found it much easier than I expected.

Awesome playing by the way smirc! Nice to see more uke players on Youtube these days!

  • Very nice! I enjoyed that, I'm going to have to learn it now. :)

  • haha very very nice man

  • wow

  • hey! good job, keep it up

  • very good my friend, you should be very proud!! keep up the good work

  • Yes I have heard of Jake Shimabukuro. He's wonderful, though I wish he would put out a solo recording. Have you heard James Hill? He's pretty amazing as well. There are several videos of him on YouTube.

Thank you for taking the time to post.

  • Wow. Have you heard of a gentleman named Jake Shimabukuro? He also does amazing things with ukulele. Might interest you.

  • Wow you did a really good job!

  • Thank you.
