This song comes from one of my favourite albums ever, I've loved the music of Eloy since I first heard Time to Turn back in 1983. Love their new twist on it too in the Visionary album. Used to use "I'm Not The One You Were Looking For" from the Metromania album as the intro song for my band, whenever I hear that the hairs on my back stand on end and I can still smell the dry ice on the dark stage... :-)

very floydian guitar after 2min 30... i really like a lot the 2nd half of this guitar solo... the whole song is a must hear... the end is fantastic... every member are transported and the voices are great ...it's a sort of white gospel in a progressive pop rock anthem... it has a potential to be a big sellin' single...

I definitly put it in my top 12 song by the band...with magic mirrors in the same album (1982)

Gdy słyszę panią na końcu utworu, to mam wrażenie, że śpiewa Agnetha z ABBY. :) Pierwowzór naprawdę fajny, Budka jak widzę niewiele go przerobiła. Ale wersja Budki wydaje mi się bardziej z mięchem, bardziej dobitna, może też dlatego, że jest wolniejsza i ma wyraźnie akcentowany rytm. Obydwie wersje są apetyczne. :)

A masterpiece! true, Eloy has always been underrated. Truth is that their music was sort of out of date and secondary -Time to turn was released in mid 80s'... yet, it's simply fantastic. "Our legecy fades and melts away 'cause tomorrow may not ever be...". Planets and Time to turn is also a fantastic piece of space rock (both albums are telling one epic original story) and this is pretty unusual. Only performer who done something like this was Ayreon. If it comes to polish cover-prefer Eloy ;)

"Noc komety" to był kawałek, do którego zawsze lubiłem wracać, nie miałem jednak pojęcia, iż jest to cover. Powiem szczerze, iż ORiGiNAL VERSiON bardziej mi leży. Polski cover nie daleko odbiega od oryginału, no może poza tekstem. Angielski ma to do siebie, iż chyba daje większe pole co do interpretacji tekstu. "Noc komety" ma za to super wsparcie syntezatora, typowe dla lat 80-tych w PRL-u - system porażka, ale za to jakie kawałki...
