just have someone hold a small packet of fake blood(Either the victim or the killer as long as it looks natural) and as the knife/Blade is sliding acros their throat squezz out the blood behind the knif where the cut is. Put a small hole in the packet and slide that hole with the knife while squeezing the packet and it just look real...

Hey Erik, I've got a tip I'd like to share sometime. If you need shattered glass (windshield hit by a baseball bat) stick pieces of plastic wrap and sculpt the plastic into how you want the impact to look. If you film from outside, the plastic should be on the inside of the car, and vice versa. Some materials work better than others ( thinner sticks better ) I'm trying Glad Wrapp polyethylene & its not working out as well.

If i want to run over my freind in a car, how would i do it without actually running him over..... although ive thought of that, so ye, if you dont help me i may have to run him over and his parents would not be happy !

One way would be to shoot an angle where it looks like he's about to get run over, then cut to another shot which shows the car 'bumping' over something (maybe lay down some wood or anything that the car can safely drive over) - add some sound effects like a scream or a bone breaking sound, and then cut to a third shot showing his body behind the car. Make sense?

have you ever seen donnie dawrko, theres a scene in there towards the end that you could recreate, use a shot of your freind on the area hes about to get run over, then cut to a wide shot adn have a stuffed dummy, *the actors clothes filled with other clothes* adn shoot it from the side closest to the feet so the dont see the head

On the fake heads video, make sure you guys touch on how to get actors to appear headless but still be able to move around. I have been trying to figure out something besides the stupid shoulders-an-extra-2-feet-up costume.

We had to break a bone and we just used a piece of bark off a dead tree and broke it. It really did a good job.

who's indy mogul? and what you can do for a fake head is buy a large styrofoam ball and a styrofoam cylinder that's about as thick as if you touched both you thumbs and index fingers togetherit should be able to fit in that. cut the cylinder to where the head won't stay in the middle but it stays more to the back like a real head and then shave of the sides to where it's an oblong shape from the front side and then put a wig on it

for a really good bone breaking sound effeect is : get a bottle, empty it out , take the lid off so you have an empty bottle with no lid on. to make that bone crunching sound put the bottle under your armpit. when your want to make the bone crunching noise just squeese the bottle by moving your arm towards your body. make sure the bottle is under you armpit of the arm you are bringing towards you body and make sure you cannot see the bottle

for the bone breaking effect, if it's like an ankle or a foot, try wearing your shoe backwards, looking like it's dislocated. Also, for the sound effect, raw pasta noodles work awesome!

FOR BONE BREAKING: RAW chicken legs break easy and sound GREAT! If you cant break it use gardening shears and cut them it sounds just as good.

I would build a modified potatogun for big gore and blood effects. I think you also could use it for other effects like explosions just put some dirt instead of the blood. Quite cheap, safe, easy and probably really effectiv.
