okay, to be honest....im an extreme atheist and i know scams when i see them. Christianity is the BIGGEST scam in the HISTORY of the world...(other than scientology). The bible is a story book. One main rule about christianity is that you have to believe in Jesus and God to get into this "heaven". Jesus was jewish, so there is no reason for making another religion. @HellOfTheSeason The problem is that no one gets a free pass to Heave just because they die. You have to repent of your sins (turn in your heart from sin to God) and believe and receive Jesus Christ as your Savior. He is the only one that can forgive all your sins. He is the only one who can take you to heaven for eternity. Anything different would mean Hell for eternity. Don't live your life believing that you don't have to accept Christ to go to heaven.
people the only one way to be saved is to do excactly what jesus said us love each other help each other respect every life just sitting and saying thingw didn't save anyone just go out to street help the poor help evryone you can save you soul but when you do it do it for the other i mean everything you do do it from you love to other i don't wanna go to haven if i do not save at least one soul beside my own love and peace to everyone.
@vdogmejunky No, I'm actually saying that we are all sinners and rebel against God. I never said that by sacrificing your life in Iraq that you were committing sin, you said that. But take hope that no matter what pain and sorrow you have experienced, that God chose to suffer by becoming a man and taking on our sin upon him. He went through so much torture, pain, rejection, sorrow, etc by choosing to be crucified for us all. He did this because he loves you and want you to believe in Him.
So if I don't have to work for salvation then I should not fight any temptation to commit sin because that would be work? As long as I believe and said a simple prayer once in my life I get a free pass to sin? Do not be deceived, we have not been called to spiritual laziness. James 2:20, faith without works is dead.
@ExpertEskimo I don't think you are understanding my point here. I was never implying that a Christian should be spiritually lazy. When you are saved God wants us to be obedient to His Will, and to allow Him to help you fight temptation and sin in your life. The passage in James refers to those that say that they have faith and that works are not necessary in Christian living...

One is not justified by works, but justified ones must do them to prove their Christian beliefs before men. So to clarify, if you believe that we need to have works for salvation (justification, not sanctification), then I would encourage you not to be deceived by this line of thinking.

Please examine these scriptures that will go completely contrary what you believe. (Romans 3:25-28, 4:2-6, 9:11, 11:6, Galatians 2:16, Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:5
