wow, what happened, why is his cast on both legs and hips.

He slipped on a wet floor at his daycare at age 3 yrs. It broke his femur (the largest bone in his leg). They call it a twist fracture and the bone breaks the whole length of the bone. The large cast is much more successful than a steel rod, in such young children. He sure was a trooper though. As you can see, he figured out a way to walk, even with the large and very heavy cast. He is doing great now and is as active as ever.
