Playing it on Elite. This fucking part is incredibly frustrating. The part that always kills me is when the flame thrower fuckers come out if I try to kill them then other sneaking wave of soldiers with the guys with the quick machine gun kill me or vice versa. I tried the knife but it hasn't work either; in Elite mode you die way too quick and Rico sucks ass when you need him the most.

I was kind of screwed in checkpoint 1 because I didn't have the lmg so I carpet bombed in the beginning every time and got stuck with that shit assault rifle. But your strategy for checkpoint 2 was flawless, after trying it multiple times on my own, I watched you do it and I got it first shot. I ran out of grenade rounds so I used the Sta and only killed rocket guys on the right side and it still worked. Great strategy.

what i always do is i knife the helghast coming down the stairs on the balcony part, knife the pyro trooper, grab the brenade launcher, camp in the left side where the furniture is, and just kill them. i have only made it to the rpg's once and i blowed up :(

..in veteran mode, I just don't remember how i passed it there without a real strategy lol, it was almost as hard as elite, and it took me about three hours to figure out that strategy, I died about 5 times using it. BTW, good video.

...and with the third wave, which was kinda easy, I killed the enemies down again with the assault rifle (and it's easy beacuse enemies never go upstairs, like the second wave), and I killed the rocket launchers from the corner with the furniture (where radec was really annoying, throwing grenades to me each 5 seconds... -_-) with the pistol (I could have used the sniper rifle, it's a piece of cake there where they can't reach you), but first times it was a nightmare, i died a couple times...

Well, it's not really hard when you know exactly what to do; in the point of death (dsecond checkpoint), I killed the first wave with the machine gun (the one that has 4 lines when you aim), with the second wave (which was the hardest for me, and one of the hardest ps3 experiences ever, along with trine "better than developers" trophy and the kratos clones in god mode), i used the grenade launcher whith every incoming hellgast upstairs, and i killed the ones down with the assault rifle...

This is strange. I've killed all Radec's men, but the balcony doors just keep shut. I've restarted the boss fight several times, but the doors just won't open. I'm absolutely sure I've killed everyone except Radec. All I can do is stand there and shoot Radec for the rest of the day, but it seems my bullets do no damage at all.

They're happy to give you checkpoints after each D-charge you placed on those four towers but they won't give you checkpoints after each wave of enemies? That makes perfect sense.

Also, they should have named the trophy "Godly Survivor" or "Legendary Survivor" rather than "Heroic Survivor".

This is, in FACT, Elite difficulty. Don't say such things just because you can't beat it. There are no one or two hit kills apart from an Rpg and a sniper.

Not to mention the lack of crosshairs. Even if you turn them off on a lower difficulty, they won't appear when you zoom in unless you're playing on Elite.

Horribly designed fight. You get one shoddy checkpoint right before shitloads of troops. And even after you beat most of them, you get easily killed by the RPGs. Not to mention Rico's crappy covering. You have to constantly check your flanks cause he's too busy getting shot.

-Rico is a camper noob who always dies need ur help then u try to help and die

-Rico isnt even helping u really...

-It takes 10 years to the next savepoint

-The noob Radec 1 Shot me sometimes in the head which means u die

I did the level in elite and killed the guys on 2:59 with the knife. It seemed easier that way, just run to one one one of the sides and hit him them run to the other and then go back to regular play until they come through the doors again.
