Froch may be overrated but so is ward, he has a good chance of beating him, hes another overrated american goldenboy, I watched Dirrel vs kessler, and he fought pretty dirty, intentionally leading with his head into kessler, if froch watches out for that and uses his strengths he can out power ward, go for the KO because ward is faster/more technical, regardless id like to see a rematch bewteen kessler and froch, great boxers!

I have Kessler winning the fight clearly, but you cannot deny the skill and heart of Carl Froch. After his domination of Arthur Abraham, I cannot wait for Froch vs Johnson. Hopefully Kessler comes back and fight the winner of the tourney.

@Fict10n Froch pretty much ended Kessler's career with this fight due to too much damage to Kessler's eye. Kessler's no longer in the tourney, mate. I agree Kessler took this fight (not as clearly as you say); but Froch was kinda sloppy at times here and didn't follow up when he had the chance. If he'd fought like he did in his next fight against Arthur, I don't think Kessler would have took this fight. Froch is back, dude. ; )

I know Kessler isn't in the tourney anymore, but he said recently that his eye is better and he will be fighting again by the end of this year. I agree for the most part about Carl being sloppy, but that's just how he fights. If you look at his fights with Taylor, Kessler, Dirrell, he made quite a few mistakes and opened himself up to getting hit. Abraham stylistically, was perfect for Froch and he exploited him. Froch will not look like hid did with AA when he fight Johnson...

I give Kessler credit and respect for staying in the Tourney after the butt whipping he got from Ward. I also give props to Froch for showing a warriors heart. Just imagine if there was no super six.....maybe none of this fights will be taking place

The 117-111 score was a joke, but even as a big fan of Froch I hold my hands up and admit that I think Kessler won the fight clearly, he was just the better man on the night. There's no shame in defeat when your opponent is Mikkel Kessler, the guy is a warrior, hopefully we'll get the chance to see a rematch between the two. Froch is still improving as a boxer, Kessler is hungry for a return to the top, so once the Super Six is complete lets see these two go to war again, it'd be good for boxing

Froch was out boxed. Theres more to boxing than stepping forward with no defence and taking a punch. Not only that, hes proven to be a very bad loser. Home town decision my ass. The look on his own girlfriend's face after the last bell said it all - she knew he'd lost.

Froch is a nice guy, he didnt want to ruin kessler

then Kessler called out the ancient viking power and used those special reserves to outbox Froch who wasnt ready for it
