adhesion and hernia operation keyhole surgery

I just had my 14th abdominal surgery.....All for incisional hernias caused by my first C - section....I've been doing this since 1988....Adhesions too.......This last operation I ended up in a coma for 3 months.

What causes these adhesions? Is it a symptom of some other medical condition?

Unbelievable video. I am an adhesion sufferer. I am scheduled for a lysis next week. The medical field is unaware of the incredible constant pain these things cause. And its a catch 22 because the surgery causes the adhesions and thats the only way to get rid of them. Good luck to you in the future.

I had a hard time even orienting myself at first! That must have sucked!!! Surgeon's got his act together though! I've got shrapnel in my abdomen since '96 and multiple surgeries before that. I can feel that I have adhesions way bad! I'm as bad as you for sure. I wish they'd get the fucking metal out! Once you get adhesions, you'll always have them. There are new procedures that are supposed to help. I got my injuries honorably, If it doesn't help, it'll kill me! Thanks for the post!
