*wipes away tear* I wish I could get a display like that, but unfortunately I don't have the funds to go 'all out'. I barely have enough to get myself a costume (the good kind not the cheap ones at Walgreens) XD
I actually used to do this awesome Jack-o-lantern that was eating the brains of another Jack-o-lantern, but it was too much work to keep doing every year.
Please don't take any of my comments to heart - I was just offering my points of view on how to improve if you decide to do this again.
Props to you for actually decorating for the holiday! So many pass up this ghastly occassion as just another reason to party - I'm glad we're still around to haunt the shizz out of people ;]
Yeah thanks for the tips. Unfortunately this will probably be the last year I do this, or at least next year will be, but maybe I'll start things up again after I move.
The usage of strobe is a tricky matter. I find it best effective when you have several strobes all set to their lowest strobing speed and make sure they all go off at different times. It creates a more disorienting environment to pretty much whatever they're focues on. You have many windows on the house - if you had one strobe in each room with a window, all set to different flickering ratios, you'll have a bitchin' effect.
The large entry window goes unused - maybe add something in there?
So, as I go through the video, I'm going to be making notes:
First, your graveyard - graveyards are sprawling environments, and when you try to cram tombstones into a small area, it looks cluttered. I would put maybe 5 or 6 headstones in that area and have each one with it's own "personality." A touch of orange lighting behind each one with some dim teal in front would really accentuate the overall looks of that whole area.

I wasn't serious about them being world's best, more of a lame attempt at getting views on a video I knew wouldn't be that popular.
