Many of his recordings with cleveland are quite fast. Two of my double bass teachers play in the orchestra and they did not like him as much as they like Franz.

I think that alot of these recordings at these tempi are quite good tho, beethoven 3 and the brahms symphonies for example

what an amazing personality. he is really the best conductor in our times. nobody gets close to him.could music exist without him?

Of Christoph von Dohnányi? He's just great; I like him a lot.

Why doesn't he perform his uncle Ernst's great compositions?
