@Ruttobasilli your not supposed to cut across the middle of the nce with ur head down. Playfair was clearly staring down at the puck he was collecting. wensink came from a blind side (which is perfectly fine if not for the high elbow).

wensink elbowed him while playfairs's head was down, what a piece of garbage. Wensink was a toilet with no skills. he would not be in the nhl today, not enough skill or talent

@2382224 That was Playfair's rookie year, so he wasn't going to win that fight. Playfair lost to Second and Nystrom his rookie year, so he wasn't quite ready for Wensink. Playfair got demolished by Jimmy Mann the following season.

Had they fought both in their primes, Playfair destroys him the majority of the time.

I've seen this footage before but never knew it was Playfair's first NHL game. Somewhat surprised at the concern on the part of John Wensink, who was a very mean and tough player. Nice show of sportsmanship
