  • I love riding freecoasters in the street at night. >;D I dont disturb anyone and cops wont notice on patrol unless you ride directly in light or something..

  • tthats a colony frame in the back ground

  • every one is saying use sand dont do it i fucks everything all up ,but yea it does make it louder

  • hahahaha my mat did this and snapped the springs, what a silly bastard

  • no need i ride fixed gear.:)

  • what is the fucking point of making it louder it just draws attention to you from the cops

  • I have a question, and it is important. Why?

  • ma gawd! the sound system from ma home theatre shakes my whole goawd dang house when you spin it yo!! XP

  • Comment removed

  • idiot homemade modification, people who are really skilled or pros dont need to waste time doing this shit

  • WOOOOW HE IS WAY LOUDER NOW..... NOT !

  • American kids....really good at destroying things their parents buy them.

  • You guys are so stupid like honsetly he said whatever if you dont wanna do it dont he told you his hub did wwear faster clearly he knows , if you think its stupid than do it , why are watching the video in the first place!? fukin idiots.

  • I work in a bike shop and I love it when kids do this i get to sell them a new wheel lol

  • how come mine has ball bearings?

  • Man this is shit! the only consequense is a wrecked hub! Try to put some sand or pepple into your hub and it will be louder too! the only difference whould be that your hub would work longer when you try sand!

  • @chrisfreeride1 man, everyone is saying to try the sand, and i threw some in there and it really did a number on the hub ill tell you hwhat

  • @limp0666 ahaha hank hill

  • looks like a bayblade

  • By doing this, you shorten your hub's life?

  • loud hubs = 8year old with a playing card in there spokes >.> makes you look and sound immature, silent is the best way to go as you know if your not clean then plus if something does want to break you can hear it not a stupid clicking fucking noise

  • Why not just put a baseball card in the spokes 'click click' like the kids did way back when..

and Not Destroy your hub :) or heres an idea?

Why not just Buy a New Hub thats Louder after your 'de-greased' hub Gives out on you..

'That gease isn't there for looks son!..

  • Another good tip is pour sand and salt into the bearings and def overtighten the axle so the wheel hardly moves

    .

  • @joshmx28 Thats a good way to ruin your hub

  • @snipesnrifles Exactly, so is the procedure on this video.

  • this is also a great way to increase the drag on your wheel so it spins more slowly. yay.

  • and the other way around. i have a hope pro 2 and i used really lot of grease " a bit sticky, yummy " the last time i serviced them, a few years ago :) . any how. they actually got quiet silent

  • My rear hope trials hub naturally sounds like that. Why does it matter? idk

  • @Mrcoumputer. It's his money .. I learned my lesson from degressing the whole hub and driver to get it loud insanely loud .. 1 month later shit. Locked up on me after that it rode like garbge

  • How to make yourself look like a douchebag

  • when i looked at the title real fast i thought it said how to murdur a bike hub

  • technically speaking its actually really bad to have minimal grease in the hub, personally i like having quiet hubs, loud hubs at the parks drive me nuts.

  • sounds like Bell end

  • @limp0666 i cant get my driver out

  • Comment removed

  • Why does it matter how loud your hub is anyway?

  • dont try that...you will fucked your hub...if you wanna louder go and get shadow or oddysey .. :)

  • your driver looks like it can be a birectional.

  • sounds like it needs some grease.

  • does this work on a 14mm semi-sealed cassette

  • @LifearoundBmx prolly

  • @limp0666 do u consider me trying it

  • @limp0666 put a stick into your wheel ;)

  • @LifearoundBmx It will work until it destroys your hub, which it will I’ve seen it happen. trust me I’m a bicycle mechanic.

  • @LifearoundBmx

it works on every cassette, but make sure you don't loose those little balls if it's semi or unsealed

  • I love the clicking sound!

  • sick ass rims

  • @limp0666 how come pro's like danny hart, sam pilgrim, brian lopes, aaron gwin, and graham aggasiz do lube their hubs...? The pro's can do what they want, becasue they blow through new hubs monthly, and don't have time to completeley destroy them... and some of those guys are world champions....

  • @MrComputerBrainz they lube their hubs because they run better when done so. I couldn't care less what they do, so hop off

  • @limp0666 can yhu do it with a [QUANDO] hub?

  • @limp0006 that's right, accept the fact I'm right.

  • @MrComputerBrainz dude chill out, why does everyone take this so seriously?

  • @MrComputerBrainz Bro your Name is MrComputerBrainz, my guess is you know ......S H I T about bmx

  • @MrComputerBrainz hey i was wondering if you could do the same with a QUANDO hub?

  • I laughed hard when i read this shit. u need to grease your hubs so they can last longer and engage better and so they dont rust out and fuck up on you. try taking the oil out of your cars engine so it can sound "LOUDER".....

  • Just get a Chris King hub, already has the obnoxiously loud "playing card in the spokes" sound already built in.

  • Ahh... And this is why hubs fail..... you realize the lube and spring tension keep pawls from wearing down the internal ratchet surface, so you're shortening the life. and this is why you never graduated to real riding on a full size bike.... have fun blowing your hub out on your midget bike

  • @MrComputerBrainz then why those pro like dakota nathan bruno hoffman all degrease their hubs?

  • Mate, My Cassette doesn't have those bandy things, Mine are like. Solid steel rofl.

  • lmfao....itz all good bro, u should do lyke us mexicans n eat beans...

  • and wala in a month ur hub is brocken

  • You're supposed to use a lighter lubricant such as WD40 or Silicone Spray you idiot your hubs gunna be shot and frozen

  • Putting extra springs in the driver makes it WAY louder .. Just go to your local bike shop and start shoving extra springs under the pawls

  • @limp0666 working on you're own bike on your garage floor doesn't make you a mechanic. "Take this thing off, don't know what its called ...". Any REAL mechanic will tell you that you're a dumbass.

  • good luck tryin to sneakin in and riding skateboard only parks at night without being heard ;) my hub is nearly silent

  • your a duoche bag!! its just gunna fuck up wat looks like a decent ceramic bearing hub!!

  • Why is the camera flying all over the place? Can't the idiot camera operator just zoom out a bit and hold the camera still? It's basic photography - you don't move the camera to follow the subject .. otherwise you get a shit video like this.

  • @Tony07UK Alright Tony, first off you have no videos to back up your alleged cinematic expertise. And secondly, if camera was zoomed out, it would be far more difficult to see what I was doing. Also, why does the subject even need to be in view if I tell you what I am doing, not only in the video, but also in the description...

  • Dude learn how to ride a bike first u fag

  • @mrdinkadink k dude thaks 4 ur advise

  • just put a thinner grease back in so it will be louder and ur parts will last bit longer

  • Lol you don't need to clean the grease, you just have an amazing hub

  • Great way to fuck up your hub lol

  • you - hey dude my hub is louder than yours !

me - hey "dude" i dont give a fuck..... you still suck.

  • i have an 9t driver on my bike and i want an 8t driver could i just take my driver out and put in an 8t driver?

  • Isn't easier to just use a Chris King (loudest) hub?

  • my old rear hub with several thousand kms on was totally silent - noce. why want it loud? :p

  • And then someone attempts this with unsealed bearings and loses them lol

  • why????????

  • And if you loosen the lock nut on your handlebar stem, you get automatic steering.......Why not use the grease on your brake blocks for smoother braking while you're at it. What a dimwit.

  • Help!!! I have Haro 000 2011 bike I tried to take the hub out to make it louder so I unscrewed all the screws off but it wont come out no mater how hard I try.

  • @erikskruza159 Lawl, harrow hubs have screws :P

  • relly av never seen the point ad rather have my wheel run smooth and last long. tbh ad rather zero noise from my driver.

  • @MrMinecraftkid21 primo mix

  • And one week later you ask a bike mechanic (me) why your hub is frozen.

  • why woul;d you make it louder its anoyying enough!

  • LMFAO bike 101 never bend your springs they break lol if they was supposed to be bent then they would make them like that but they dont cuz it messes your shit up

  • This is so wasteful and it really grates me that people actually want to shorten the life of their components for a sound that has no positive affect in regards to the performance of the bike. I had to stop riding, because I'd cracked so many frames and parts which I could never afford to replace. Seeing all of the sick gear that everyone is riding around on these days makes me happy, and it's come down in cost so much.. Grease your shit and don't be ungrateful or wasteful.

  • why? why? why would you want a louder hub ??

  • wow this is dumb...

  • This is one of the dumbest bike videos I've seen. And I've seen some dumb bike videos.

  • @bam41791 i enjoyed your video with the guy who didn't blink for a while

  • just double your springs up, i got a profile and i clean my hub out weekly with alcohol. im gonna have my springs quaded up when i get my new springs i ordered

  • What's the point of making it louder

  • @13kawasaki13 to assert dominance over riders with quiet hubs

  • @limp0666 hella dumb...its all about stealth, not sum loud dumb ass ratchet rear end.

i custom build all my own rear rims to be silent...

that way i can scare tha ish outa u when i haul ass by u.

  • @925dude idgaf about stealth, i just wanna hear myself in the air...

  • @925dude Mate, You do realise having an extremely loud hub, Makes you more noticeable to you quiet cunts to know not to T-Bone our ass.

  • @limp0666 hahahaha thats hella funny

  • @limp0666 My Ultegra hub is stealthy quiet at speed. If I want something louder I can get a Chris King hub for the angry bee's nest sound.

  • The grease is on there for a reason.

  • to much drag

  • you just need to tighten springs clean out greese and put some light greese in it so it doesnt wear as fast

  • I got a half sealed hub can i do it still

  • your fucking stupid why would you do that to a hub you bitch buy a better one

  • replace the grease with wd40 and your hub will be as loud but it wont wear out as fast. nice vid tho

  • nothing happend whn i did this, no noise differnece

  • DONT DO THIS

  • how do you really get a hub louder someone please tell me

  • Don't bend spring or take grease out just double spring your hub and it will be louder

  • light grease makes it louder and doesnt burn your hub out. bending the springs is DUMB AS FUCK. dont do it.

  • is there a special tool needed to take out da driver..beacause mine wont come out

  • U need grease man its gonna get worn out fasy

  • doin that a week later all my springs broke and my pawls were super worn out

  • @limp0666 thats stupid dude the grease is there to keep shit smooth and cool now bearings will be grinding

  • @TheSToLeNcherry yea that happens triple spring itt ive never done it look at my hub go to my video on my page

  • kiidddddd you stolle my videeooo ideaa

  • Say goodbye to your hub

  • @17tacoman17 depends if u want it to get louder or quieter

  • whats better light greese or thick greese??

  • @17tacoman17 thick as you can get it

  • how bout you just buy a shodow rant v2 hub. its the loudest stock hub that and the madera v2. i have them both.

  • I know the point is to make the hub louader, but really you should keep it nice and greased so it doesn't wear down as much. But it's your choice man!

  • Okayy plzzz someone help me, i have an odyessey lhd hub, but like when ever i tighten the nut to make the hub tighter, as soon as i tighten JUST A Bit,the driver gets harder to spin , am i missing something or something ?? Someone plzzz help

  • @PwnageRecords i have the same problem with my salt am cassette hub, found it i had chewed my sealed bearings to peices, have a looksy, could be your problem might not, worth a shot though :)

  • Hahaha nob head asif u did that to a profile i did it and now one of my springs in broke dont do it anyone trust the person whos got to pay £40 for a new spring and pawl set!

  • @HinckleyBMX fucks profiles up bad two of my springs snapped and one pawl just melted

  • how can i replace my freewheel ? ineed help please mine exploded and came out i need to know what items to order

  • Can you show us in detail how to take the pawls out and put them back on pkease.

  • If it's completely wiped off, it wears down really fast. They don't put grease there, just because...

  • i can't pull my driver out

  • it sounded a bit like a ratchet at the end :D

  • You can buy the 'hope pro 2' hub and it's durable and very loud! Also check out chris king hubs there expensive like $400 for the back hub and bearings will need to be replaced more often but they sound like a ww2 bomber!!!!

  • wen i took my driver out it wouldnt go back in?

  • @raptorboyz960 if its rhd push and twist counter-clockwise at the same time and it should work

  • @limp0666 DID U EVER HERE OF PUTTING THE PAPER UNDER SPRINGS?

  • Cleaning the grease out of your hub will half your hubs life.

  • @yodaisoldskool Sick dude!!

  • @yodaisoldskool

if you replace it with a thinner grease it doesnt half it's life, maybe just 1/4th....

  • @yodaisoldskool half? i think not! when u degrease the hub and prawls u will have a trashed bike within a week or 2 if u ride everyday. With grease and care it can last alot longer. But still video title doesnt lie, since it will increase the sound. lol

  • my driver wont come out

  • i have a.salt rim and hub off a we the people.justice , should that work

  • @raptorboyz960 idk take it apart and find out

  • @raptorboyz960 HELL NO. You should only do this if you have sealed hubs

  • that bolt at 0:20 i take that off and the driver wont come off. and also when i do that there like metal balls in there?

  • @raptorboyz960 just make sure you have everything off, then just wiggle the driver and it should pop off. Sometimes when I take take the driver out it comes out immediately, but other times it takes a while longer. Ya there will be bearings inside, but if they are sealed (which they should be) then you wont see the "metal balls" but just pretty much larger versions of skate bearings. Its all a lot easier than it sounds.

  • @limp0666 somthimes with odyssey hubs you have 2 undoo both sides

  • @raptorboyz960 ITS UNSEALED, dont take it apart ur just gonna fuck up ur rim. trust me ive done it

  • @hotrodryan1 to late lol i just got a primo mix

  • @raptorboyz960 k haha :P

  • @hotrodryan1 did u need a new hub?

  • @raptorboyz960 did i? like when i took my unsealed apart? nope my dad got all the ball bearing back where they should be and im acually still riding that hub and it works better than ever.getting primo balance soon though

  • @hotrodryan1 o ha i dint feel like messing with it so i just bought a primo balance off of dance comp

  • but youve got sealed bearings...

  • can u plese make an redo video cause i need step by step?from very begining to end. ill sub

  • @raptorboyz960 if this video didnt help you, then you probably shouldnt do it at all, until you learn a little more about hubs work internally so you dont screw it up. If you just take it apart, it should make sense what you have to do.

  • if i buy a new driver would it make my click louder

  • @TheChrisv23 i doubt it, but give it a shot and tell me what happens if you do

  • @limp0666 i got a really weird hub the paws are in the inside and the little ridges are on the driver so if i open it all the little bearings will fall out do you know what you should do

  • @TheChrisv23 You have an "Inverted pawl system" you can't really do anything to make it louder

  • Y no more videos

  • @STAYFiTcoling good question. ive been planning on making a riding edit but i dont have much footage right now, but i just started my trails back up so i might have enough clips for a video soon

  • Why do you want to make it louder? Why not put some gun oil or something in there instead of nothing?

  • a quieter hub is better.. if you want a loud hub just stick some pop cans in your tire or tape some cars to the frame.. it sounds like a motor :D

  • @98shepard shut up thats for pople who cant afford a desent bike or hub

  • a quieter hub is better.. if you want a loud hub just stick some pop cans in your tire or tape some cars to the fram.. it sounds like a motor :D

  • wat back wheel do u have
