so you rule out Paul but rule in the Apocrypha...interesting choice. As a believer from the Jewish side of the fence, having come to Christ having been raised in Judaism since I was 9, I've come to a semi-conclusion that Paul's teachings aren't false when understood in the context of Torah...the hidden parts of the Torah...but you and I do not have to agree on this, let's just keep working out our Salvation with Fear and Trembling as one body, without dissension due to interpretive differences..
@ABAisSCIENCE Why would I take part in a discussion with someone who has already they have no desire or intention to look at the facts. The fact that you say "other text that deface God" is proof that you don't care for truth but rather just want to either argue with people who don't share your views or only seek those people who agree with you.
But if you wanted a short list you only had to look on my homepage.
@ABAisSCIENCE Yes. I agree. But the Gospel of Judas is nothing like the Gospel of Thomas.
I've made a good number of video on most of those books. I have videos on the Didache, Enoch, The War Scroll, and The Gospel According to Thomas. And while I may not have made videos dealing specifically with some other books, I have referenced many and drawn from their teachings. Some examples are, The Book of Jubilees, the Damascus Scroll, and The Testament of the 12 Patriarchs.
@ABAisSCIENCE. In addition to these are the 14 books that make up the apocrypha, which are found in the older protestant bibles. The last video I posted prior to this one I read from and gave a teaching from The Shepherd of Hermas. From it we are told that we can grieve the Holy spirit and cause it to leave us.
So the Holy spirit will not stay with people just because they cofess Christ as their lord or because they submit to water baptism.
You can be angry and not sin. Yeshuah had righteous anger, when He overturned the tables in the temple, or when He told off the religious liars / hypocrites.
@MessiahYeshuah Yes. That's true. I've said similar things myself. We are to love like Christ and hate like Christ. Stating what you have though does nothing to refute what is said. And we must be careful that the exception to the rule is not used to water down the rule.
For many Christians do this. Some teach, for example, that baptism is not important because the thief on the cross was never baptised yet told that he'd see Christ in paradise.
@TrustinJC I have not gone into depth on baptism, but I do know one thing that John the Baptist himself said:
I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
Outward, flesh immersion baptism was a shadow of the internal, Holy Ghost baptism. I do not believe that getting water baptized is necessary for salvation.
@MessiahYeshuah Than you are drawn to the exception rather than the rule.
Water baptism preceeds baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Baptism was the last thing taught in the OT and the first thing taught in the NT. Jesus and the apostles taught the need for it.
While there are examples of people recieving some measure of the Holy Ghost without water baptism preceeding it, many of those people end up searing the Holy Ghost and forcing him to leave.
Let us look how much we both agree on 1) Agree 2) (1/2) Agree 3) Agree 4) Disagree 5) Agree 6) Disagree 7) (1/2) Agree 8) Agree 9) Agree for a total of 6/9 averaging 67 % not bad lol....
@JCYTT1I3777 What??? Not 100%? Well get away from me you heathen.
Just kidding.
Though number 6 is a big one for many Christians and is the reason many have disowned me as a brother in Christ.
But I'm OK with this as Christ is trimming the dead wood from the true bride of Christ. This means some dead wood will also be trimmed from both my friends and subscribers list.
@ABAisSCIENCE If you are so blind that you cannot recognize the Gospel of Thomas as being inspired there is no point in any further discussion as to what other books are inspired. Calling God's word bunk without any evidence or reason of such is not a very wise thing to do.
@TrustinJC, Only an unbeliever would think the Gospel of Thomas has validity. There are extremely important things missing in the Gospel of Thomas like the death, burial, & resurrection of Jesus Christ & the forgiveness of sins is missing. With all that missing it is a joke to call it a gospel.
Mistranslated sayings of Jesus & Paul whom you hate is all it is.
Are you saying you prefer to ignore the reason Jesus came to Earth entirely in a Gospel (can't even call it a Gospel really) message.
@ABAisSCIENCE Seriously? Those are your arguements? Because it doesn't include things found in other gospels and because it isn't written in the same format as the other gospels you dismiss it?
you could not have read it like you say. Because if you had, you would know it has nothing to do with Paul.
The book is made up of the sayings of Christ. It has to do with his instructions, not his interaction with the public. The Didache is similar in that it has only instructions from the apostles.

@TrustinJC,
Well, the Gospel of Judas is useless. Some of the others on your main page I know nothing about. They may be valid, but I wouldn't know.

The Gospel of Thomas is complete bunk. It is useless. I read it and know it to be totally useless.
What other stupid books have you added?
