While there is nothing in the Quran and Hadiths that promote honor killings (as defined as killing to avoid family shame), but Quran5:32 states its not a badthing to kill those who have killed or to kill those who create "mischeif". If you want to knowwhat "mischeif" is, I suggest you look up the arabic word and see other parts of quran where the same arabic word is referenced (It's not egregious violent crimes per se, just going against Islam)
