Shit!! Didn't realise they got that big! Where exactly is this video though? U in Oz or somewhere? Cool video still. If they breed that well and get huge and taste great someone should farm them or just try to catch all the unwanted 'invaders' :)
@fuckingpurplefish It is in Northern Norway. We are located in Northernmost Finland, but our playground is other side of the border. Soviets got the bright idea of bringing those crabs from Kamchatka to here. Only the strongest survived the trip and the lack of natural predators make them spread like a disease. Sea temperature keeps them in polar region (they don't like the warm water). There is so many of them it is impossible to catch them all. In Russia they catch annually about 3 million.
@fuckingpurplefish Well, these crabs shouldn't be here and they can be as big as 1.8 meters from leg to leg. Fact is they are everywhere making havoc of the indigenous species down there... On the plus side, they taste really good :)

Codling? not really an 'infestation though is it! its one or two crabs! u need to look at some christmas island crab infestations!!!!
