That was cool. Only complaint is the movie trailer voice. Sounded a tad ... oh, strained I guess. It's hard to do a convincing one because it's been parodied so many times. I don't do a great one, either. :)

Nice use of the YT-2000 Corellian transport. I've always personally preferred the older-model Dynamic-class, but that's mainly because, as I stated before, I'm a major KOTOR fanboy.

I've always kind of wondered if we're ever going to see Star Wars media where the protagonists (or at least one major character) use a Ghtroc 720. For the most part, the Ghtroc is far better than most YT ships; YTs are ridiculously easy to modify, which is their only advantage.

Well, YT-1300s lose out to the Ghtroc, anyway; the YT-2000 is absurdly tough, even unmodified, and lightning fast compared to most freighters (though obviously not the Falcon, the Outrider, or the Ebon Hawk). The Ghtroc's better as a freighter, at least; bigger cargo capacity and can be run on half the crew of a YT-2000. A YT-2000 needs a crew of 4, if you aren't using any slave circuits. Dynamics are poor by GCW-era standards, but give 'em a break; they're 4000 years old by then.

This is story about the Rebellion, not the Jedi. Neither Luke, Ben, Yoda, Vader or Palpatine make an appearance, so there won't be any Jedi in this one.

Besides, the Jedi are getting entirely too much attention these days and it's high time we reminded people that there'z more to the Star Wars universe than just Force users.

Heh. I haven't BEEN around for a while. I finally got my production machine repaired; while it was down and I couldn't produce footage, I really had nothing to do/say at TFN, so I just haven't been going to the boards.

So long as the weather is warm, my productivity may be quite low, but once cloudy season hits again in Seattle, I'm back at work. :)

Yes, that's pretty much the entire plot, though it goes into a bit more depth than that. I wanted to tell the kind of story that fired me up about Star Wars as a kid, and it was always the Galactic Civil War that I focused on. Also, so many fan films out there these days are kids with sticks pretending to be Jedi, rehashing Anakin's fall to the dark side; I wanted to be different, to stand out from other fan films.

The final movie will be a half hour long, give or take. The current rough cut is 26 minutes, but it's not quite complete yet, either. So...give or take 30 minutes, in the end.
