Awesome video! I recently got accepted as a new pilot to the United Virtual Airlines. I've done about a day of reading and getting everything set up. But, i'm still a little confused as where to start. I played around with every thing in free flight. I successfully connected to vatsim, but i have kind of a newb question. Do i have to start a multiplayer game in fsx, then connect to vatsim and all of that, so i can actually see other united pilots and such?

Let's be honest. There aren't that many special effects, there aren't that many fast paced action shots, and there aren't many of the things that flight sim youtubers use to make their videos interesting. But, for some reason, this is one of my FAVORITE videos on youtube. WOW! I applaud whoever made this, as everything is perfect! I'm jealous of the external filming and videography. It must have been quite complex. This has inspired me to make a new theatrical video. 50 thumbs up!

1 issue, it's picky, but i'm a VATSIM S2 and the correct format for landing clearance would be:

UAL2113 Winds 260 at 12 cleared to land runway 27L

@penny2g3 no question is stupid haha, the benefits are that you are involving yourself and communicating with other pilots and very realistic air traffic control. None of that computer animated stuff. If you want to connect to vatsim just go to vatsim's website, acquire a vatsim ID. Download and install squawkbox, run squawkbox and type in your vatsim ID, start up FS and click connect on squawkbox. Feel free to ask any more questions

@penny2g3 Im not sure were to download it, try googling squawkbox download. Oh and the song "Path of Borealis", by viktor antokov. The ATC is real people so if you were landing at LAX you would contact LAX approach, (a real person) and they would direct you along with the other planes landing at LAX

I joined... and then I didn't have time because of my schedule, and I flew for 2 more VA's (BA virtual and Pacific Airways). So I quit. But it was a fun experience at least, flying about 3 flights. :)
