I just think Madden 09 was the most polished realistic gameplay of all football games. Madden 05 you could throw the corner route all day long.Which pissed me off cause I would have to manually cover that almost all game long. Madden 09 has some great game play. ur star QB & RB maybe done for 3 weeks, then someone else is injured for 6 when theyre healthy and so on. IMe & my younger brothers have been playing this way since 03. Every season is tough. every offseason is crucial. 4 the offseason we dont sign any free agents until after the draft. Its 2 easy 2 sign a whole bunch of great players 2 ur team. By signing them after the draft, u might find 1 or 2 real good ones. Sometimes we sign free agents till training camp. just challenge urselves. have fun

I'm not sure if there is still online for the madden 09 on the PS2 anymore, but if your getting madden 10, get the wire, create an account (free), bring your modem somewhat near the ps2 so the wire can connect from the ps2 to the modem, then go to the online thing. once your connecting, it should say something like connecting to server, then connecting to dnxy or something. i guess thats about it. reply if you need more.

yea. there's a wire. I think its a phone wire. Mine is blue but I'm not sure if its a color coded thing. just find one that fits into the back of the ps2 and the back of the modem.

I'm not saying your bad, just that you made a lot of bad decisions in that game, such as attempting a hail mary on the second play of the game. And also, when you are going to run the ball, don;t automatically run to the outside or hold sprint before you pass the line of scrimmage, just follow the play and sprint after a hole opens up.

so favre is on jets, roy williams is on cowboys, and etc.

also the overall of players increses/decreases depending on how well they are doing in the season

example: Chris Johnson used to be a 78 or 79 overall RB

They should make the Madden series more like the NCAA Football series. In NCAA, the catches are sometimes cool, better break tackles, and YOU CAN ACTUALLY LATERAL. In Madden 08, all the catches looked the same and there was no PIZAZZ if you know wat I mean.
