i had this phone, it was nice for 6months, then the 'C' button stopped working, then had key pad issues, then after awhile the ear piece stopped working, then the fast port stopped working, still i love the phone, now i have x10mini pro:)

Hey just wondering, is the keyboard similar to that of the W715? The keys aren't too bad for texting but it could have more depth to it. Most of the time I had to use my nails to text with it.

I got this phone in December 08 when it first came out on an Orange Contract.. All I can say is DO NOT EVER GET THIS PHONE!! The camera is brilliant, but that is it.

I am on my 3rd one through the contract, and that is broken too.. I treat my phones really well, but the phone is soo unreliable!!

The keypad (number keys) break very easily

The Centre Silver key on the D-Pad breaks, making the phone unusable

The software is incredibly unreliable and will freeze and delete settings..

@666volunteer Yes it is, the camera is brilliant, but DO NOT get this phone.. I am on my 3rd one through a contract + even this one is broken. They are incredibly unreliable. The software is the worst, constantly freezing and always a source of trouble. The buttons and key-pad break, making the phone usless. The loud speaker failing is a very common problem. The ear-piece fails very easily, so you can only hear your calls through the speaker. There are many more problems, but I can't fit on here

Well guys try to update your phone from sony ericsson site and get the newest software..i had the same problem with v630i when it was released and i updated it with the newest software and everything was fine

Never dropped mine etc at all. Always took care of it.

When I first ordered the phone it arrived faulty, so I had to exchange it - crackling earpiece.

The next time, after about 5 months, the earpiece stopped working altogether!!

It takes 1.5 weeks for customer services to sort the phone out and send it back!

I hated this phone - within 6 months it broke down on me twice - both defects were to do with the ear speaker. Nice looking phone with a simply superb camera, which I loved - pity the phone wasnt reliable enough for me, and the rest of the features were poor.

I have a C702 right now, and a C510 (Yes I have two phones) C702 is the best I've ever had!

I took a photo from C905 that my friend has, and damn the quality blowed my mind Oo C510 sucks! Camera shows wrong colours (everything is a bit green-ish toned) and the battery hatch is almost unable to open without break the phone itself. C702 is one I would reccomend. Great grip, screen, sound, camera and entertainment. And mine is black and yellow.

Mine just come back from been repaired, cos key 6 button broke and phone kept turing off and wouldnt turn off again. I had SE 810i before, and much prefer it. I know few other friends who have had many problems with it.
