lost my nefue in late 2001 due to s.i.d.s and two of my best friends in october 13 2001 in a car reck this song is for them may you all R.I.P and see you all soon love you and miss you all
the song was originally done by a band called SNOT. When 7D redid it shortly after Lajon's brother was murdered. I got to see them live not long after it happend. Lajon couldnt hold back tears. Very powerful stuff
@MayorMcJustin actually it was written for the lead singer james lynn strait of snot after he was killed in a car accident....it was dedicated to his mum, they recorded it on an album that was called STRAIT UP which featured heaps of bands singing for james....they redid angel son on the animosity album.
I saw them live yesterday ( Bochum, Germany) together with Shinedown and I have to say that they were awesome.....the drummer is absolutely amazing, I've never saw something like this before.....the whole band was fantastic.
@AsG1989 He actually was for a time. His band was called Dark New Day, and he left Sevendust in '03 for awhile to sing in that band. But in 2009 he came back, and he's back with Sevendust now.
@iamabeliever4life First of all...I'm not a dude. Second...my response was a reply to a negative comment that is no longer there...about us 7d fans having our tongue up their asses! Thanks & have a nice day!
this song is fucking awesome and its made for a great reason and has great purpose and passion behind it and it rocks just like sevendust and what they do and are about.
This song may not sound heavy, but when you're in the crowd on the barricade, it's just as heavy as alpha. they put the same passion into this song as they do every other song in thier set list. Amazing live show!!!
7dust,... wow what an amazing band, so much feeling especially in this song!
