@J0shuaG0 It doesn't have to be long, it just has to be 'sufficient'. But ultimately it's down to preference and which ever you feel most comfortable with.

how long does it take to learn this "technique"? and what is the technique called?
@PhilliamPfeffer Really depends on your current skill level. May take from 2 - 20 hours of practice.
It's called "Pluck & Flick" technique.
