I think HK society is similar to Filipino culture. Like they appear to be very tolerant and they dont seem to mind. But behind those stares are silent criticisms building up. And they talk westerners are like this and that among their friends. And the westerner thought she was viewed as cool but actualy was viewed a deviant.
