Some people just don't understand the talent and execution Peter plays in his songs.Todays society has everyone so dumbfounded they don't know talent when they see it.They feel if they cant beat the snare at 100mph that they are no good.I could care less what others say,when I watch KISS live,I'm in my own world,HELL with the rest..

fact is Peter was voted 2nd behind Jon Bonham 2 years running ina music mag - not a teeny magazine.

His jazz roots really set KISS's sound aside. He was easily the best drummer they had when on form, and given KISS's crippling tour schedule aside from Ace and Peter's indulgences) there is bound to be the odd dodgy performance here and there.

The original four are and always will be the best. Sigh!

I agree with what your saying...but when it comes to ppl "dissin" Peter...I disagree..It's not an insult to recognize better or more developed talent when one sees it. i.e., Eric Carr & Singer.

@LordRuehl woah woah woah! I can see Carr as being, perhaps, more talented than Peter, but Singer?! Honestly? the man falls in and out of time constantly. I'll be marking his drum beats, and he will seriously come in waay late, then play really fast to catch up to the next few beats all the time. A drummer that can't keep time. No way could Singer lick Criss's catty boots.

Love Peter's performance, don't care what people say, if Peter never played drums 4 KISS there'd be no KISS. I hate it that people start dissin Peter. This is 1 of Ace's best solos, 4get Thayer, it's easy 2 learn some1 else's solo, but it takes passion 2 write your own. So is there a huge gap between the 2 originals and the subs, yes there is.
