  • When I watch this, I can almost smell that guitar

  • guita sounds amazing

  • how much of a tone variation is there between the OMJM and the OM-28 version? from the clips it sounds very different but since you own the two, i'd like to hear your take on it.

  • i think this is the best song on the village session album. which is saying a lot.

    awesome job btw

  • 0:05 subscribed....

  • damn that martin freakin' sings!

  • Sounds great man! I'm a little frustrated my om-28jm doesn't sound as open on the bottom end (tricky middle part clip). What did you use to record? Keep it up!

  • My heart sank when it ended and no section on how the solo is played came up. A video showing you do that would be ideal; I think I have it for the most part, but it'd be nice seeing someone else do it. Good video otherwise, there were some bits I'm doing wrong by the looks of things, haha.

  • Can u please tab out that tricky please???? and thank you. the tracks from the village sessions are so underrated

  • good!

  • your videos are great, you truly have an amazing talent. i am curious, how long have you been playing guitar? and if possible, any tips on how to get better at guitar? John Mayer has a difficult style of playing, but you sure have mastered it. i know "practice makes perfect." But, any specifics? thanks!

  • yessssss so happy you posted some new Mayer vids, you tha man! keep jammin' wit that beautiful equipment u got there!

  • hey bro you think you can do one on the slow dancing in a burning room from the village sessions. It's one i've always wanted to learn and you seem to be a really good teacher.

  • BEAST GUITAR GOD!!!

  • I need to get a fricken C.F Martin...

  • @thephamcookiemonster im right there with you. :/

  • You're awesome.

  • we missed you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ah... another lesson thats not "Neon", we meet again...

  • In the beginning the last chord is Dsus2/F#.

  • can you do the solo of this version. it's awesome. btw, nice playing :)

  • Thanks for posting this, I've done this tune loads of times it's one of my favourite ones to play yet I've never nailed down that middle part I could never work it out. Get that solo up, looking forward to it!

  • Jeez, that guitar sounds amazing.

  • @0:35 I play (x-2-4-2-3-2)-(0-2-0-1-3/0-0)

  • @1:11 I play (2-x-4-2-2-2)-(x-2-4-2-3-2)-(0-2-0-1-3/0-0)x2

(Village Sessions but by hear so...) Rest sounds 100% to me!!! Awesome job!

  • I'm actually also learning this one right now :D

  • I was ssooo right haha xd

  • I HAVENT EVEN WATCHED THE VIDEO AND I KNOW ITS GONNA BE GREAT!!

  • listened to this with headphones on...man that guitar sounds amazing.

  • where the F do you get all your guitars they are gorgeous lol. so jealous

  • Awesome, YOu're really an Inspiration.

Can I ask you a thing, which set of string do you use and what is the thickness of the pick?

  • @lovesmuscumani I'm guessing elixirs .11 or .10 and 0.6mm

  • @olufssenn Maybe...Even I use .10 for strings but it's that I'm not sure about the pick he uses...let us wait for him to reply....

  • For the hard part its:

open G string hammer on to 2nd to open

    3rd fret D hammer on to 5th

    3rd fret A hammer on to 5th

slide up on A to 1st then 3rd then 4th fret. Voila!

Great video nonetheless! Please keep it up, you're teaching me so much!

  • 0:37 to 0:41 sounds like daughters.

  • Thanks dude. Great work

  • what strings do you use?

  • @briansalcidomusic metal ones.

  • @briansalcidomusic Elixir Phosphor Bronze Nanoweb Medium Lights. Wow, what a mouthful.

  • AWESOME

  • another awesome video man.

  • I always used F#m7 Bm7 E7 in the chorus.

  • I always loved the acoustic version he does on the village Sessions. thanks for making a video on it so I can learn it!

  • the tutorials keep getting better. nice work as always!
