@bulletz4life Hi i got the Canon D30 and it came with an BG-E2 and that's it as it was second hand !!! i love the Grip but tend to find it a pain to use all of the time if im only going to be out for an hr or so ? where can i get the rest of the housing and the Big Batt for this D30 ? Thanks
@xuyso It depends on your needs. If you want a magnesium-alloy body with 8mp of resolution, which is honestly a great size, I have sample picks and I can show you it, and thats on a budget, this camera is for you. Its a great feeling camera and has alot of pro features, like 5fps shooting mode. I used this camera with the 50mm 1.8 and it works wonders. But if you want a camera with video and more megapixels, then I recommend the 60D or the 7D if you can afford it, way better and updated cameras
@Mrfufilas as long as it is a EF or EF-S mount lens, if it is an FD mount, then you will need to get an adapter which can hurt the overall image quality. if you have a bunch of film camera lenses, then you should either sell everything and move on to digital, or stay classic and get another film camera that supports the ones you have.
@joeyhcmc what a beast it was, you mean. i dont really have that kind of money to spend on all the cameras, but im pretty sure when it comes to color noise and overall image detail, either the 40D or 50D would top it off because they have a way higher image detail sensor.

just set a nice high shutterspeed in manual mode to fire off the camera to test the FPS.
These are great second hand buys as well - i just picked one up on ebay for peanuts.

Do you recommend me to buy this camera nowadays? Or do you recommend me another one?

Could you compare end results of Canon's 20D, 30D, 40D and 50D? I heard Canon 20D beats them all!!! What a beast of a camera it is - 20D!
