I downloaded the extra pack first and the base second and they are on fsx but they wont work so should i delete the extra pack please tell me or give some sort of information

@Ghostliermon I would wipe any Captain Sims files from your system and start fresh install. I've done that too. Install the base pack first, you have to use the Captain Sims loader that comes with the plane - it lets you config the load, etc... if you want to use the whole plane. Then check if that's working, if it is, then install the extras pack. That's what I had to do.

hey dude how did u get that on like i got it on FSX and everything i bought it to the base nd expantion 1 packs but whenever i click on one of them it comes up for like a second on the main screen part then exits me out of FSX or makes it stop running thanks.

go to thepiratebay and type in captainsim scroll down u will see captain sim x-perience about 150mb thats it its full vc with all gauges :)

I download the demo and every time I try to load the aircraft, sometimes it works but other times FSX crashes, then I try to start the game when it finally does load but then FSX crashes... Help?

beware of safedisc on retail product...

I got the demo version and cant take off I can throttle engines but have no control over flight. Whats wrong I was about to buy the extra pack 2 version

You'll notice in this video that I made that the aircraft I am flying is MAC (Military Airlift Command) which has been regrouped and renamed as AMC (Air Mobility Command) - does that mean the MAC tail banner is ridiculous because you've "flwon" in a C-130 and it didn't have that Southeast Asia paint scheme or MAC designation? The Captain Sim FSX Add-on is the legendary (hence historical) C-130, which happens to include the older analog pits and the newer modern ones.

in addition, I was a crew chief on KC-135R and T model aircraft. They were in the process of upgrading USAF active KC-135 aircraft with the Pacer CRAG glass cockpit system in the late 1990's when my term was completed. Does that mean they never had analog's? absolutely not. Likewise the C-130, built in the same era as the KC-135's had the same technologies.

Videowatcher, you seem to not know or understand the legendary series of this C-130 add-on. Do you really think that all C-130's built since the 1950's had glass cockpits? That's revealing that you don't know too much about aviation history.

What type of joystick setup do you have?

Also do you have the pro version of Cptn. Sim C-130 or the regular version? The pro version (which is in this video) is practically like the real thing - you have to start up all the electronics and hydraulic systems just like in the real plane - so that's where you may be getting caught.

Rudder pedals, or if you have a joystick that has a twist feature. I use the Saitek X52 joystick/twist and throttle combo.

Rudder yaws left/right, ailerons bank left/right.
