the movie is amazing and totally kid friendly. i took my 7yr old brother to see it and he loved it. but seriously if you havent seen it, its not scary and i went to go see it at 12:00pm

Even though some scenes were just a bit scary towards the end, it wasn't anything dramatic. Parents are mostly complaining about Ms. Forcible and her "display" during the theatre scene. I think that's totally silly. It barely lasted half a minute and they said Coraline was not suitable for children. People have to remember it was based off a creepy book and they did a fantastic job making it so kid-friendly.

the thing is, the film does look creepy and brilliant. but i dont get why people are saying its too creepy. loads of children's films have scary concepts. Watership down, Secret of Nymph, Nightmare Before Christmas...just concepts make it creepy. Coraline looks magnificent. i dont think they should higher the certificate. i think its fine the way it is

If it wasn't PG-13 (can't remember), it should have been. The Other Mother was a little creepy to me and I'm glad I saw this before it could scare the bejeebers out of my sister.

When i saw the trailer it looked very pixar-ish very innocent but the movie was actually really creepy but great story-line and great moral I recommend you take only kids 8 and older kids under 8 might get nightmares I AM SERIOUS but kids older than 10 will understand and really enjoy it.
