There is a certain Honesty about these songs that I recall from SOOOOOO damn long ago... These days, it seems if you want the same character and feeling, ya gotta play it yourself... and I'm just not that good!
I bought this in 1971 , it was a 3 track maxi single on CBS. Tracks were: A side (45rpm) "Everything's gonna be alright" "Freewheeling Man" B side (33rpm) "Magic Highway" Nice picture sleeve. Good song, thanks for posting.
Why are there only 3 band members in this clip and that of "Yellow River" yet when "Iron Horse" is played, there appears to be a 4th member of the group?
Have anyone chords for this one please?

Can anyone verify if the guitarist in this video is Vic Elmes? He looks different from other videos and pictures. Thanks.

Yellow River, San Bernardino and this one are their best songs, rival anything the Beatles wrote.

Absolutely brilliant. They should re-release it to a new generation and modernise it a bit.

Because Christie started off as a trio and became a quartet later, with the release of Iron Horse.
More on the website.

Easily as good as 'Yellow River'
Their other great track for me is'Picture Painter' there's a promo film for that too with kids painting pics of the band!
These promo films are on the fab DVD's 'Sensational SOunds of the 70's Vol 1 & 2' both of which are well worth getting for some real obscurities!
