Their lead singer just sucks at singing and screaming. Still makes great music though. But, DAMN, who would have thought that I could find someone worse than Adam Lazzara live?

wow this is like THE POLAR OPPOSITE of the amazing show I saw where he sang everything it was a tiny venue with cheap equipment but they were sooo amazing and this being my favorite song they learned to play this WAY BETTER live.

I'm totally with you. Only seen them twice live, but both shows were AMAZING. first of all, I agree, Buddy is the best lyricist, but also he is the best frontman. If he was 100% on key, but just stood there, I'd hate it. He may be off key a little sometimes, but just look at them, so much energy. makes for the best shows ever.
They are such a good band, but no way can he be the best lyricist, his lyrics rarely make any sense and are about as imaginative as what my 10 year old sister could do. Great songs, and the lyrics fit them, but the lyrics are awful in about 80% of the songs. I want to go and see them though, they appear to enjoy themselves which is good.
@imtheeffingbatman stage presence is something that should come after basic vocal technique. that's like saying as long as the light show is good at a concert you don't need the sound system.

I think this is terrific, but I can see how you might think this is a bad performance...Buddy seems a little...off. However on the 16th I saw them live, and they were fucking badass. So yeah...Senses Fail rules!

@myescapeismusic if they're singing songs they wrote and sound nothing like what they're supposed to sound like, to me its essentially the same as someone who isn't senses fail singing senses fails songs. because they don't sound right. and sure they wont be flawless, but buddy could certainly sound closer to how he did on the album then he does. many other bands do just that.
and sure i'll still go see em live,doesn't change the fact that compared to other musicians, buddy sings poorly live.

ok do u know how hard it is to sing while you've been screaming a lot? even if u do it correctly it still damages your voice while ur in the same session...which is why the guitarist was singing certain parts and buddy did a really good job screaming.

When i heard the singing after the screamo i was like whoa when did buddys voice get like a billion times better. (forgive me for not knowing their names) then i saw buddy wad lip singing to that part and the beard guy was singing. He has a great voice and thier combo makes and awesome duet

dave miller the original guitarist was kicked out, he was replaced by Heath, who recently left but not in a bad way, he wanted to do sumthin else. Mike Glita the original bassist left also awhile ago hes doin other music ex Love automatic and knights in paris. yes Etay is the new guitarist and the bassist who replaced Mike is Jason black.

I think this is terrific, but I can see how you might think this is a bad performance...Buddy seems a little...off. However on the 16th I saw them live, and they were fucking badass. So yeah...Senses Fail rules!
And Buddy is the coolest person on the planet btw.
