haha i do that in some of my songs xD hallelujah, sadness and sorrow, i add the high note and finish it off with the single note in the lowest/second lowest octave.

gives it sort of a.. closed book sorta feelin..

Yeah sure, well first of all the piano in this vid is a DGX-630, and with the DGX-630 you can't put the recorded songs straight on to the computer....Unfortunately, Yamaha's DGX series only has a headphone jack rather than a standard audio jack that would allow you to connect to an outside source without bypassing the speakers. Your best bet is to connect to the PC and turn up the level of the mic or line-in (not sure which you are using) so you can hear yourself through the pc speakers.

NO, DGX-630 also has direct conection to PC by USB. You can record on the piano and then copy the SMF/MIDI file to PC

you know the dgx-630 and ypg 635 are the exact same thing right? even says so on yamahas sight. the ypg is just for full fledged music stores while the dgx is for big box stores like wal mart
