James Cameron has taken Avatar to the indigious peoples of the amazon and asked them for there honest opinion in doing so he himself has seen first hand how real the story can become, in taking subjective criticism he hopes tell a story that represents the real people in a respectful manner and to bring awareness to very human issue we all face.
i just watched avatar for the first time, and it bought up all the same thoughts, feelings, emotions as it did for you. it is helping me wake up from my ego stupor
