  • He is 15.3 hands but carries himself much bigger. He is very upright. Knabstruppers do have mottled skin and striped hooves. They have the same color gene as appaloosas but do not have appaloosa blood.

  • Nice baroque type! People in the US seem to think these are just spotted warm bloods. (or appys) They are so much better. :-)))

  • I agree.. yet I just cant tell the difference.. It has (from what I can see) the face much like an appy.. but it's gate is very different, and it looks a lot more buff. Do Knabstrubbers have mottled skin at all? Or striped hooves? I'm sure they are different there.. I love spots either way, wish I could ride one.

  • LOVE Knabstruppers.

Got to love that appaloosa coloring.

I wish we had knabstruppers where I live. D:

    Gorgeous horse by the way.

  • i LOVE him!!!!!!!

  • ive seen fable at the showgrounds before :)

    hes adorable!

    so sweet :)

  • The rider in the video is a 20 year old Grand Prix rider. He is NOT an appaloosa, but a Knabstrupper. The dressage footage was when he was only 4 years old in Denmark, and the jumping is summer '07 in California. He has a very thick stallion neck and broad chest which is why his jumping technique is unconventional, but he gets the job done and loves it!

  • Is he still for sale? Assuming he is, are you still offering him as stud?

  • Yes, he is still for sale, although there is a buyer with serious interest who would geld him. Before I sell him, or before he is ever gelded, I will be collecting and freezing, so I will be still offering him for stud.

  • How old is the rider in the show jumping?

  • he is fabulous! but he needs to use his neck more when jumping =]

he's one of the prettiest appys i'v ever seen!

  • He would be a very pretty appy...... but he's not an appy. He's a knabstrupper. But yes hes pretty ;)

  • oh lol. both breeds look same to me becuz they r both spotted :D

  • LOL Thats like calling a paint horse a milk cow, because they are spotted the same!!! LOL

  • what an adorable horse!! loves to work too. great.
