He is 15.3 hands but carries himself much bigger. He is very upright. Knabstruppers do have mottled skin and striped hooves. They have the same color gene as appaloosas but do not have appaloosa blood.
I agree.. yet I just cant tell the difference.. It has (from what I can see) the face much like an appy.. but it's gate is very different, and it looks a lot more buff. Do Knabstrubbers have mottled skin at all? Or striped hooves? I'm sure they are different there.. I love spots either way, wish I could ride one.
The rider in the video is a 20 year old Grand Prix rider. He is NOT an appaloosa, but a Knabstrupper. The dressage footage was when he was only 4 years old in Denmark, and the jumping is summer '07 in California. He has a very thick stallion neck and broad chest which is why his jumping technique is unconventional, but he gets the job done and loves it!
Yes, he is still for sale, although there is a buyer with serious interest who would geld him. Before I sell him, or before he is ever gelded, I will be collecting and freezing, so I will be still offering him for stud.

Nice baroque type! People in the US seem to think these are just spotted warm bloods. (or appys) They are so much better. :-)))

Is he still for sale? Assuming he is, are you still offering him as stud?
